Husband and wife chef team Christopher and Veronica Laramie are wrapping up their first year in Berkeley at their 28-seat restaurant eVe, and they’ve recently changed up the menu to reflect the season. The place is modeled after prix-fixe neighborhood restaurants that you’d find in Europe, but the level of cooking falls somewhere between bistro and fine-dining, with artful presentations and unusual pairings of ingredients like a risotto with crab, fennel, saffron, and blood orange, or crab apple with oatmeal, allspice, and parmesan. Take a look at the new full menu below.
