We just got a reminder from head mixologist, Paul McGee, that The Whistler will be hosting its first official cocktail party tonight. It’s all to celebrate Charles H. Baker Jr.’s Jigger, Beaker & Glass, which is a cocktail book from the 1930s. McGee and company will be shaking up over 30 different cocktails from the classic book, and we have a feeling there will be no cucumber encapsulations. Perhaps a Jimmie Roosevelt? Festivities begin at 6 p.m.
