So explosive is the story of S. Irene’s outing that the BBC is covering it! Granted, they don’t have any new information to add to the story, but still! It’s interesting that they’d cover it, given that the U.K.’s restaurant critics aren’t exactly famous for their anonymity.
Also of note is the fact that Red Medicine, the restaurant that blew Sherry’s spot up in the first place, has removed the original blog post and photo from its website. We’re not really sure what the reasoning is behind that move. Are they trying to whitewash their own dastardly ways? Or did they just feel that the post had done its job and it was time to move on?
