The former manager at Bon Chon on John, Danny Louie, tells us the Korean-chicken chain’s next location will be a “restaurant with bar and lounge” in the former Pescatore space at 957 Second Avenue and 51st Street. Early next year (likely in March), he’ll open with a thirteen-seat bar, French doors, and sidewalk seating. Louie is hoping to score a full liquor license (he’s already won the community board’s approval) and tells us, “We intend to have the bar as a destination for people who go out Thursday, Friday, Saturday.” Get ready for some sticky fingers, y’all.
