Asiento, that new bar/restaurant we told you about coming into the former Monkey Club space (2730 21st Street), is now due to softly open in mid-December, says Tablehopper. The concept, as we guessed, is tapas, along with specialty cocktails, albondigas, and a “kick-ass sound system.” The food won’t be coming until January, and owner Debi Cohn says she’s still painting the place and she’ll just be doing a few holiday parties and the like in the next few weeks.
