After you’re finished ringing in the new year, strutted with the Mummers on Broad Street, caroused on Two Street and slept off your epic hangover all day Monday, Amis will have brunch awaiting you. Beginning at 10 p.m.! For January’s Industry Night, Brad Spence, Marc Vetri and the rest of the Amis crew are hosting Kanella’s Konstantinos Pitsillides for what they’re calling Misnight Brunch. Spence’s menu will feature bruschetta with egg salad and porchetta, braised San Marzano tomatoes with farm eggs, paccheri with breakfast sausage, and walnut apple french toast. Pitsillides’ menu is still under wraps, but based on the fact that Kanella remains one of the city’s most popular brunch spots, it’s bound to be over the top. As usual, entry is free, but you need to show a current pay stub from a restaurant to get in.
