Last night, the final four battled to become the final three on Top Chef: Just Desserts, and it was an anniversary cake challenge. The pastry chefs had to basically make a wedding cake for guest judge Sylvia Weinstock’s 61st wedding anniversary with her husband Ben. Danielle actually won with a battleship gray monstrosity. Morgan gets by with a too-dry cake that was still vaguely attractive. And our man Yigit makes it through despite his cake being deemed too complicated. But Zac unfortunately went with Smurf blue for his cake, and as TV Squad sums it up, “Zac was asked to pack his disco dust and bounce.”
