When Chefs and Rockers Collide

Tickets ($35) are still available for the third annual Eat Your Heart Out Boston extravaganza on November 14 at the venerable Paradise Rock Club. The dinner/concert combo features some of Boston’s best chefs (Rocca’s Tiffani Faison, T.W. Food’s Tim Wiechmann, etc.) and local bands, cooking and jamming for Boston-area charities. And perusing the menu, we’re fairly psyched. Chefs will style plates in homage to their music idols, and they’re not holding back. So Tiffani Faison will whip up pork belly agrodolce, house-made “hots,” foie pastrami mayo, and crispy onion, inspired by Ray Lamontagne’s “New York City’s Killing Me.” Channeling Slayer, Jamie Bissonnette will present slayer bocadillo (“Reign in Blood” sausage with smoked tomato and pickled onion). Hungry Mother’s Barry Maiden, meanwhile, offers up meatloaf (lower-case “m”) with “bat out of hell” sauce. Next year, we would like to humbly suggest a Keith Richards immortality elixir.
