Food-science nerds (we won’t call you molecular gastronomists), get ready: The Alchemy of Taste and Smell classes that are taking place at Astor Center this weekend sound pretty good. Dave Arnold and Audrey Saunders will make aromatic cocktails! Johnny Iuzzini and Daniel Patterson will make dueling dishes! A quick glance at the Astor Center calendar indicates there are still tickets left for most of the events. (Unfortunately, it looks like David Chang and Wylie Dufresne’s class on creative cooking is sold out, but wd~50 fans can still catch Wylie’s Harvard lecture tonight.)
