Azad Virani, owner of high-rise bound Signature Cafe, is opening a much more personal project in Culver City, shortly before turkey day arrives. Kebab Bistro will be a casual, everyday restaurant cooking Mediterranean-Indian fusion, with traditional food available for those who don’t go cuckoo for kebab. But the specialty here is obviously meat-skewers and Virani tells Grub Street that his will be cooked in a tandoori oven, along with carefully prepared naans. Expect kebab of beef, chicken, lamb, and fish when the restaurant springs to life, likely in the next two weeks.
