As Grub Street mentioned last week, Fathom Seafood House, the fishy gastropub from fish and Little Fish’s Mike Stollenwerk, is mere days away from opening. When it does finally open its doors, the casual restaurant and bar will offer a seafood-centric menu with an emphasis on sustainability. Stollenwerk created the menu of fresh and locally-sourced dishes with recommendations from Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch and Local Abundance in mind. Some highlights include lobster grilled cheese, swordfish schnitzel, cod pierogies, Fathom Fries (topped with crab, spiced crab gravy and cheese curd), and Blue Bay mussels. The bar will feature 10 taps of mostly local and craft beers, plus another 40 in cans and bottles. Click through to see the full menu.
