We know it’s hard to imagine that food industry people eat anything besides grass-fed beef and foie gras, but Commonwealth/Mission Chinese Food Guys Anthony Myint and Danny Bowien can not get enough of Popeye’s chicken — especially the 99-cent two-piece deal on Tuesdays. As Danny tells Mission Local, “It’s fast, it’s efficient, I feel like it the benchmark for what… it’s not like it’s this holy chicken and it’s been pastured and it’s like amazing… it’s 99 cents, and it’s consistent.”
