Oakland: Charlie Parker, formerly of Bonny Doon’s Cellar Door Cafe who was said to be starting work in the kitchen at Plum in January, will actually be starting around December 13. [Tablehopper, Earlier]
SoMa: Cocktail folks from around town are throwing a party this Sunday, December 5, in honor of Repeal Day, at the Boothby Center for the Beverage Arts. There’ll be pre-Prohibition-era cocktails from a variety of startenders, and period nibbles from Comstock Saloon. Tickets are $35. [Grub Street]

Jackson Square: Cotogna opens for lunch tomorrow, offering continuous service and the same menu all day from 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m., with a limited-item bar menu served between 2:30 and 5:30 p.m. [Grub Street]
Cow Hollow: Pe Yale, which Tablehopper informs us means “a glass of wine” in Farsi, is the name of the new wine bar and eatery from the owners of The Wine Jar that’s moving in next door to Atelier Crenn, in a former tattoo parlor at 3131 Fillmore. The concept? Appetizers, cheese, desserts, a few couches, and a 65% domestic list of wines. They’re aiming for mid-January. [Tablehopper]
Marin: Boca Pizzeria is opening another location, somewhere in southern Marin County. [Scoop]
