Now that butchering is all the rage, it’s no surprise that at least two reporters went and slaughtered their own turkeys: Abram Sauer does it the “loud and messy” way, by visiting a Wisconsin farm for an Esquire slideshow, and Ariel Kaminer of the Times hits an Ozone Park slaughterhouse to do it the “humane” way, though it still leaves her rattled.
