We have to admit that we are still having a hard time looking at any list and not pointing out some kind of controversy. We blame Michelin. After last week’s marathon, where everyone was on edge about what these Frenchmen would say about our city’s dining scene, how you can blame us? But the Jean Banchet Awards are a Chicago-based awards presentation and it’s all for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation charity. The event is taking place on Friday, January 28, 2011 at The Fairmont Chicago. You can buy tickets here. They just released the nominees, and about all that we can see is the complete absence of Longman & Eagle. Come on! They just got a Michelin star. Oh…wait…see, how do we stop this?
