Next week on Sunday, November 7th, Suzanne Goin and David Lentz, along with their partner Caroline Styne, will bring L.A. a new chef-driven tasting benefit with chefs from across the country in support of L.A. Loves Alex’s Lemonade, an organization fighting childhood cancer. Goin was inspired to start her own food festival during her participation in The Great Chefs event in Philadelphia. So far, the homegrown chefs have lined up Jennifer Garner and Jim Belushi to help with hosting duties, while calling on chefs from various different U.S.cities to lend both their time and their food. Who will you find at The Mansion at Culver Studios next Sunday?

In addition to L.A.-based talents like Giada DeLaurentiis, Nancy Silverton, Zoe Nathan, Neal Fraser, and chefs from Goin’s own restaurants, drinks will be provided by a massive list of wineries, bars, and restaurants, including Scarpetta, Lou, Comme Ca, and The Varnish’s Eric Alperin. But refreshingly, most of the assembled talent is coming from out of town, giving us a chance to finally try some of the dishes we’ve been hearing about from our Grub Street family. Marc Vetri from Philadelphia’s Amis, Vetri, and Osteria, Paul Kahan from The Publican in Chicago, Jonathan Waxman from New York’s Barbuto, David Tannis from Chez Panisse, and Michael Tusk from San Francisco’s Quince will join a lineup of over 23 chefs and restaurants and over 40 drink suppliers.

Tickets for the event are $150, while VIP is $350. It’s a first-time festival, but it’s hard to expect anything less than perfect from Goin and company. Tickets are on sale online. See the complete list of food and drink suppliers below.
