On Monday Grub Street mentioned that Marc Vetri and company were going the casual route with plans for a new Italian pub on North Broad Street. It seems they are not wasting any time moving forward on the project. Vetri just checked in to tell us that he and partners Jeff Benjamin and Jeff Michaud will sign a lease tomorrow afternoon for the former car dealership, which is just a few doors down from their restaurant Osteria, where they plan to open this next venture. Details are still nebulous, but Vetri tells Grub Street he expects to have the pub open by next fall.
