Truckin’ In the Rainy Months: Off the Grid Launches Indoor Pop-Up

Despite the weather, S.F.’s food truck scene shall continue unabated right on through the fall and winter — Off the Grid is, in fact, going on today during lunch in front of City Hall and then later on, for the really hardcore street foodists, at Fort Mason. But with the comfort of customers in mind as things only get chillier and wetter, OTG founder Matt Cohen has co-opted the dormant Jackie’s Vinoteca and Café space (105 Valencia) adjacent to the McCoppin OTG that happens on Saturdays. This pop-up shelter will be available for OTG patrons from noon to 10 p.m. tomorrow with $2 beer specials, the Giants on TV, and, you know, heat.
