Those annoying food truck laws may still be in place, but we have to admit to being pretty happy with this compromise. Edgar Castaneda, who is already behind River North’s Zocalo, is planning to open Taco Joint, an “Urban Taqueria and Cantina,” which will have a walk-up window. Hopefully this will ease some of the lines at Big Star’s window. Of course, there will be a main dining room where one can sit, but what’s the fun in that?
