Mission: Specchio (2331 Mission) is doing special Thursday dinners featuring bottarga, which if you didn’t know is cured mullet row that’s kind of like thick, salty, fish jerky. They love it Sardinia. [SFoodie]
Mitchell’s Ice Cream is doing a Baseball Nut sundae in honor of the Giants, with orange sprinkles and walnuts. In unrelated ice cream news, Humphry Slocombe just introduced Butterbeer ice cream, made with brown butter and Sierra Nevada. [SFoodie]
SoMa: The Grill (799 Bryant), which we told you about a bit ago, moving in diagonally across from the Bryant Street courthouse in the former Luna Taqueria, is now open. [Yelp]

Potrero: The New Taste Marketplace will be launching on two Saturdays in November and December (11/27 and 12/18) at St. Gregory’s Church (500 De Haro Street). They’re still looking for vendors of pickled things and such. [Beer & Nosh]
