Something the East Village is probably not excited by: A new Papa John’s. Something Williamsburg is probably going to dig: Best Pizza, which Eater says Joaquin Baca (along with the folks at Roberta’s) will open “any day now” in his old Brooklyn Star space, with pizzaiolo Frank Pinello at the helm. Brooklyn Star, meanwhile, is still on track to reopen in the old Lazy Catfish space.
