Melissa and Emily Elsen, the pie mavens of Brooklyn’s Four & Twenty Blackbirds, are launching an occasional Sunday supper on October 24, in collaboration with Nate Smith, formerly of the Spotted Pig. The $45 three-course menu will change regularly; the kickoff will feature roasted pumpkin with fresh kale, lamb-and-tomato-preserve pie, and drunken pear pie with allspice cream. There will always be a seasonal starter and — this being Brooklyn — a vegetarian option. Communal tables and local free beer round out the atmosphere. Check out another photo below.
