Jones Actually Not Quite Open, Grand Café Adds Weekend Live Jazz, and More

Tenderloin: Jones (620 Jones Street), the new lounge we’ve been telling you all about, is actually soft-opening next week, and last week’s event was really just a neighborhood-only gathering. [Eater]
Union Square: Grand Café (Taylor and Geary) is now featuring live jazz on Fridays and Saturdays from 9:30 p.m. until 1 a.m., with a new late-night cocktail list. [Grub Street]
SoMa: Reminder: Prospect starts brunch tomorrow, and will serve it every Saturday and Sunday, henceforth, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. [Grub Street]

North Beach: That new joint we mentioned, Macellato (59 Columbus), which just took over the Caffe Macaroni space, appears to be ripping off Bakesale Betty’s fired chicken sandwich recipe, but Kauffman still digs it. [SFoodie]
Cole Valley: The Ice Cream Bar is on its way into the former Cole Foods (815 Cole Street). [Eater]
