Bebe’s Barbecue, the dearly loved Carolina-meets-Memphis-style barbecue joint in the Italian Market that Grub Street reported had closed back in July, could rise from it’s own ashes in the near future. “I am currently writing a new business plan,” owner Mark Coates told Grub Street via email. “I have a couple leads on some locations, but haven’t started the negotiating process.” Despite a location and opening still up in the air, Coates said he would like to be back up and running by Spring 2011. In the meantime, hit him up on Twitter with where you would like to see Bebe’s set up shop next.
