A sensitive young lady named Rebecca Schneider showed up at the Walnut Creek City Council meeting the other night not only to protest the proposed In-N-Out Burger that wants to move in the adjacent town of Pleasant Hill (next door to a Black Angus, btw), but to cry about it. “I love this neighborhood,” she says, choking up, “and quite frankly I don’t want to see it ruined by having an In-N-Out Burger come in.” We, quite frankly, would be ecstatic if In-N-Out showed up within spitting distance of our house, but yeah. To each her own.
