We warned you, we told you what the pizzaiolo had planned, and we showed you what to expect inside. Now, we bring you the extremely short menu at Una Pizza Napoletana, which opens today for dinner only at five o’clock sharp. Renowned pizza-maker Anthony Mangieri doesn’t mess around with kooky toppings, vegetables, or meat of any kind. This is the real deal, and don’t balk at the prices; quality costs a little extra. As a sign in his original NYC spot said, “We have no quarrel with the man who sells cheaper pizza. He knows how much his is worth!”
Note that the fifth pizza, a new addition since he married and relocated from New York, is a tribute to his wife and won’t be available for a week or so, when Mangieri finally sources the specific smoked mozzarella he’s been looking for. Also note, there is a focused wine list sourced only from Campania, Italy, as well as the Italian sodas and coffee shown below.
