A major advisory for the lactose intolerant: Do not go near the central environs of the Ferry Building, as a new temptation has just opened up. Cowgirl Creamery expands this week with Sidekick, a dairy bar next door to their retail operation, which will be offering an array of dairy-based goodies to go, like sweet and savory yogurt bowls, cottage cheese, gougères, breakfast sandwiches, a fresh mozzarella bar, hot and cold milk drinks, cheese toasties, and a San Francisco egg cream made with a special chocolate made by Ferry Building neighbor Michael Recchiuti of Recchiuti Confections.
