What to Eat at ICHI Sushi, Softly Opening Tonight

Bernal Heights gets a new sushi joint this weekend, ICHI Sushi, which takes over the former Yo’s Sushi Club space at 3369 Mission. As 7x7 reports, tonight is the (soft) opening, and the team of Tim and Erin Archuleta will be welcoming in new fans as well as old ones, who may already be familiar with ICHI’s Lucky Cat Deli stand at the nearby 331 Cortland. They’ll have three beers on tap, a couple of wines on tap, as well as a constantly changing sake selection and shochu cocktails too. But as word gets out, you might need to wait to sit down; the place only seats a cozy 24. Below, the full menu of sushi, sashimi, and izakaya items.

The menu will likely morph a bit as the restaurant comes into its own the next few weeks, and as winter approaches, look for ramen to rotate in to the menu as well.

Menu subject to change, both seasonal and immediate. Click to enlarge.
