Prime Roast Beef and Seafood is primed to open in Lexington’s Marrett Square, the Globe reports. The restaurant will open its doors in late October, taking the place of sleepy Brewed Awakenings. In addition to roast beef, owner James Garabedian plans to serve seafood, chowders, and corned beef. As we’ve noted in the past, roast beef restaurants are all the rage; Kelly’s Roast Beef, Banjo’s, and Roast Beast of Boston also debuted recently. Garabedian formerly owned Ken’s New York Deli in Burlington, where his pastrami sandwiches enticed regulars.
