Plow to Bring Breakfast to Potrero

“There’s no place to sit down for breakfast on Potrero Hill,” says Joel Bleskacek, who along with wife Maxine Siu are opening Plow (1299 18th Street) in about in two weeks time. As Tablehopper reported earlier, the couple met while working at Oliveto a decade ago and also own Ruby Wine up the street, and SFoodie now reports that they’ll start filling the breakfast gap in about two weeks. The daytime-only spot will feature “classic American” and comfort food items like lemon ricotta pancakes, brioche French toast with caramelized bananas, buttermilk biscuits with house-made sausage gravy, and for lunch, sandwiches like slow-roasted pork on Acme soft rolls. Down the line they plan on hosting winemaker dinners as well.
