Another fine dining institution bites the dust, this time in Vegas. As Las Vegas Weekly reports, Hubert Keller closed his six-year-old Fleur De Lys at Mandalay Bay last Saturday, and says, “It’s a little bit sweet and sour. In French, we call it ‘turning the page.’” He points to the economy and the trend away from upscale institutions like Michael Mina (which also shuttered the same day), and he’ll reopen in the same space in December as a “global tapas restaurant.” [via Scoop]
