Come September 24, Lincoln Centers sloping elevated lawn will draw more than picnickers. Beneath that verdant roof is the sleek, glass-walled Lincoln, where chef Jonathan Benno, late of Per Se, has assembled a modern-Italian menu, served la carte to start. Lunch launches September 30, and will eventually feature a prix fixe menu del territorio celebrating specific terroir and local products like Satur Farms lettuce (in the romaine salad) and Paffenroth Gardens eggplant (in the caponata). Though it might make sense, we dont imagine theyll be ringing bells and flickering the lights pre-curtain. Take a look at the restaurant in our slideshow.
