Most folks in Philly find it’s a bit irksome when out-of-towners want to rap cheesesteaks. When they claim to have some sort of expertise on the subject, it tends to further fuel this irritation. And when two of these so-called experts admit they’ve never actually consumed a cheesesteak in Philly, as two members of L.A.’s Far East Movement do in the video posted below, it’s downright maddening. In the clip, which chronicles the group’s recent visit to the City of Brotherly Love — at about the 2:25 minute mark — Far East Movement’s two self-proclaimed “biggest cheesesteak fans in history” confess they’ve never eaten a cheesesteak on the sandwich’s home turf. Then they have the gall to conduct a head-to-head evaluation of samples from Pat’s and Geno’s. Check it out after the jump.
