This evening at Starry Kitchen, two chefs not necessarily known for noodling will go head-to-head during dineLA’s “cold noodle” Quickfire challenge. Waterloo & City’s Brendan Collins and Palate’s Octavio Becerra welcome the public to watch from 6:00-8:00 P.M., while both attempt their best Yu Chun impressions, utilizing one of three key ingredients from Starry Kitchen: coconut, oyster sauce, or hoisin. Should help with the heat, and for a little more icing on the cake, Starry Kitchen will keep the item on their menu through restaurant week and tonight, Casa will host an after-party across the street with free apps like “Turduckenizo” albondigas.
