Just ahead of its fifth anniversary, Amada, the grand temple of tapas from which Jose Garces launched his empire, is closed, Meal Ticket’s Drew Lazor tweeted, and a qucik peek at the restaurant’s website confirms. Don’t freak out yet; it’s only temporary. After some minor renovations, which include the removal of the stage-like large platform in the dining room, it will re-open on Friday. drewlazor [Twitter]
