What to Eat at Sunday’s Food Truck Festival

It’s time to treat yourself to some truck-made fare: Boston’s first ever food truck festival is going down at the SoWa Open Market from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Eighteen vendors are confirmed so far and, despite your best intentions, you probably don’t have the stomach capacity to try every single one. Don’t worry: we have a three-point plan to maximize your dining delight.

• Avoid anything you could eat in a restaurant. Sure b. good will be there with their snazzy new truck, but that’s not worth using precious tummy capacity. Same goes for you, South End Pita. Honestly, even Herrera’s is questionable.

• Look for launches. Cupcake truck The Cupcakory will be debuting at the festival, as will Roxy’s Gourmet Grilled Cheese.

• Get there early. This festival is getting hyped everywhere from the Herald to Facebook, where 1270 people have already RSVPed yes. We strongly recommend showing up right at 10. What better brunch could there be than a food truck fiesta?
