Tria’s “Spunky Little Cousin” Is Just Weeks Away From Opening

Biba, the wine and beer cafe from Tria mastermind Jon Myerow that Grub Street mentioned a few months ago was coming to University City’s Left Bank, is just a few short weeks away from opening, according to the Insider. “End of August” is reportedly the word from Myerow. Like its two predecessors - old original Tria at 18th and Sansom and its offspring at 12th and Spruce - Biba’s focus will be primarily on wine and beer, and will serve small bites that pair well with both. Think: cheese, charcuterie and chocolate. The space, which will feature an industrial farmhouse vibe, is tiny. It will only seat 32 inside and another 12 outside. [Insider]
