Tasti-D-Lite, the ubiquitous purveyor of fat-free yogurt-esque soft-serve beloved by dieters, tourists, and those in search of an ATM, is slowly introducing breakfast to its menu, NRN reports. Taking a cue from chains like Subway and Quiznos, Tasti-D hopes to tap into the multi-billion-dollar morning market with a menu of baked goods, “hot granola,” and — of course — frozen-yogurt parfaits, all clocking in under $5. It’s available right now in about 20 percent of Tasti-D-Lite stores, with plans for full saturation by the fall. [NRN]
