Michael Psilakis Is Opening a ‘Breezy Mediterranean’ Restaurant

Michael Psilakis promised us hed put his now-empty Gus & Gabriel space to use as a brand-new concept, and so it is: The spot will be a breezy Mediterranean-style seafood restaurant, reports Diners Journal. Besides a new menu, the still-nameless restaurant will also have a totally new layout. A 30-seat counter will lead back to a formal dining room, a departure from Gus & Gabriels more standard floor plan. Ive been here for eight years, Psilakis said of the space, which in previous iterations had also been Onera and Kefi. But this is the first restaurant where Ive changed the layout.
