Scoring a coup as far as parking lot public art is concerned, upcoming Mission nightclub The Public Works (161 Erie Street) recently got a mural on their Mission-facing wall from famed British street artist Banksy. As Uptown Almanac shows us, the mural was further “finished” during an event on Sunday, adding a few elements in the collaborative tradition of street art. According to the team at Public Works — Jeff Whitemore and Peter Glikshtern of Mighty — the new club should be open by mid- to late September.
