Is Pork Overrated?

You can't tell me that doesn't look delicious.

The Stew asked a few area chefs which food they thought was overrated, and between dissing such easy targets as truffle salt and curly parsley, Terry Fucik (Dirk’s Fish), Cleetus Friedman (City Provisions), Carol Wallack (Sola), Chris Lateano (South Water Kitchen), and Mark Mendez (Carnivale) all picked pork. Check out the official evidence here, which we think should go onto some kind of official government file. With so many food trends to hate (we are looking at you cupcakes), we have to wonder why they all picked on the pig? Perhaps this is the warning shot at the eventual pig backlash. [The Stew]
