The Korean taco trend might already be in its cupcake-phase of hatred for most of the country, but it’s still relatively novel here (Sure, we have Taco Chino, but that’s really it). Following in the footsteps of Benchmark’s slight toe dip into the taco fad, is the full cannonball of Del Seoul, which plans to open in Lincoln Park in late September. According to the Chicago Magazine, the restaurant will be run by a brother and sister whose parents own and run Senoya in nearby Niles. Along with the tacos, the shop will feature pork dumplings, a banh mi, and a grouping of tacos called “The Foursome of Death,” featuring the Shorty, Porky Pig, El Pollo Loco, and the King.
