The City of Philadelphia should consider sobriety checks and regular driving exams for those who drive their vehicles. Yesterday - as its been reported here and elsewhere - a Delaware River Port Authority police SUV collided with a SEPTA bus, sending it careening into Monk’s Cafe. Today a Public Health employee, driving in an official city vehicle, crashed into Ruth’s Chris Steak House at the Atlantic Building on Broad Street, just a few blocks from the Monk’s crash site, Philadelphia Brownstoner reports. Seriously, it’s like the city’s agencies and authority affiliates have declared war on Center City restaurants. [Philadelphia Brownstoner]
