What to Eat at Barracuda Tavern, Bringing Deep-Fried Cheesecake to Downtown Crossing

Barracuda Tavern is set to open at 15 Bosworth this weekend, per Thrillist, and we’ve got your first look at the menu. Creative, seafood-focused comfort food is the theme here: think oyster po’boys, bay shrimp-topped potato skins, and shrimp scampi pizza. The restaurant’s deep fryer gets quite a workout, crisping everything from turkey bacon-wrapped scallops to cheesecake. Yes, you read that right. Deep-fried cheesecake.
