What CHOW Talks About When It Talks About Innovation

Is pancetta-flavored ice cream innovative, or just annoying? How about French food served out of a truck? CHOW gals Roxanne Webber and Lessley Anderson are embarking on a three-city tour in order to explore just such questions. They begin this week in their home base of San Francisco, take off for L.A. on July 8, and wind up in NYC on July 15. Along the way they promise some video dispatches, including a few interviews with chefs, and we can only guess a $40 ham sandwich might be on the menu at some point, too.
