The Sycamore May Debut As Soon as This Weekend

Fast on the heels of Café Prague shuttering, Mission Local reports that the new owners of what’s to be called The Sycamore (which Grub Street first broke the news about in March) are hoping to open as soon as this weekend. The brother and sister team of Liz and Tim Ryan are going to offer a simple menu of craft beers, sliders, and roast beef sandwiches like they make them on the North Shore in Boston. “We want to make this a place where people want to hang out,” says Liz, and we wish them luck in making the well-trafficked corner at Mission and Sycamore a more popular hang than its predecessor did. Along with the upcoming Grub and B3 on Valencia, this means a bunch of new burger options for all you in the Inner Mission.
