For everyone who doesn’t dedicate their weekends to pounding or sipping tequila, the spirit has its own “holiday” tomorrow. This follows a successful year that put this drink, and its sister mezcal, into the spotlight at fine-dining spots like Rivera and Red O, and trendy bars like Las Perlas and the soon-to-open Te’Kila. Tomorrow, Culver City’s Rush Street is holding a tequila triathlon, with two-for-one shots offered on 24 tequilas from :300 to 7:00 P.M. Following that, a trio including Tequila Ocho Blanco, Tres Generations Reposado, and Asom Broso Anejo is on-sale for $18. Then there’s tequila bottle service until the end of the night, with discounts on bottles and shots. After that? Well, that’s between your agave-amped friends and the bouncers. The fun and the booze-induced fog commence at 3:00 P.M. at 9546 Washington Blvd..
