Radish Coming to 19th & Lexington

Photo: J. Barmann/Grub Street

We noted this property up for grabs a while back at 19th and Lexington, and it appears to have quickly found a buyer. Grub Street finds today that an eatery called Radish has just put in for a liquor license at 3465 19th Street, just a hop from Hog & Rocks and across the street from the Lexington Club. A previous application went into the ABC for something called Namaste Café at this address, but assuming the operator hasn’t changed, we commend them for deciding on the more non-yogini-friendly Radish. The owner, Emily Summers, informed a Mission Mission reader earlier that the place is going to be a “seasonal soul food” restaurant, and she’s aiming for October.
