PETA may have been prevented from publicly launching a campaign in Montreal, but they managed to pull off a Meat is Murder stunt at West 45th Street and Broadway in Times Square today. According to a press release, the nearly naked PETA members aim to demonstrate that all animals including humans are made of flesh, blood, and bone; that animals have the same senses and range of emotions as humans do; and that when you eat meat, you are eating a corpse. A pretty bloody scene to stumble upon during your lunch break, though nowhere near as horrifying as almost being hit by a suicide jumper while youre sitting at a Starbucks.
