Between beer summits, burger diplomacy, date nights with his wife at posh restaurants and the recent uproar over his choice of ice cream shops in Maine, President Obama could possibly go down in history as one of the foodiest presidents of the post-Revolutionary era. Tomorrow he will reportedly pay a visit to Edison, New Jersey’s Tastee Sub Shop, a stopover that may not necessarily galvanize this reputation, but certainly will give it some weight.
